²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø announces its 2024 Distinguished Alumni


²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø School Board (²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø) has released its 11th annual Distinguished Alumni poster series featuring profiles of alumni who are making valuable and unique contributions in their respective careers, pathways, and communities. ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø Distinguished Alumni also represent the image of the Catholic learner as described by the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations.

The Distinguished Alumni poster will be distributed to all Catholic schools and parishes in Dufferin-Peel.

This year's poster features six alumni, including a physician, actress/singer, artist/muralist, entrepreneur, chef and public service executive:

  • Dr. Chika Oriuwa - Resident Physician in Psychiatry, University of Toronto (St. Thomas Aquinas C.S.S.)
  • Jabari Lindsay - Director of Income and Social Supports, Region of Peel (St. Augustine C.S.S.)
  • Julia Pulo - Actress, Singer, Dancer (St. Joan of Arc C.S.S.)
  • Omar Allison - Entrepreneurial Executive (St. Marguerite d'Youville C.S.S.)
  • Jack Dolganiuk - Artist/Muralist, Business Owner (St. Francis Xavier C.S.S.)
  • Cassandra Rachey - Chef (Cardinal Leger C.S.S.)

"We are extremely proud of our ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø graduates who have gone on to make valuable and unique contributions to society in so many ways," said Marianne Mazzorato, Director of Education. "These alumni have acknowledged that their Catholic education was foundational in helping to shape who they are and the path they have chosen. We hope they serve as a source of inspiration for our current students and staff."

The profile of each alumnus aligns to one of the seven Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations:
